Hyperbond Studio Joins Claude for Startups Programme to Advance AI-Powered Language Learning

SINGAPORE, Jul 31, 2026 – Hyperbond Studio, the team behind the AI-powered language learning app Call Me Sensei, has joined Claude for Startups, Anthropic’s programme for startups building with Claude.

The programme connects founders with resources and a community of builders working with Anthropic’s AI models. It also offers eligible startups the opportunity to apply for credits and priority access to API capacity, helping teams develop and scale their products.

For Hyperbond Studio, participation opens another avenue to explore the conversational systems behind Call Me Sensei, where users practise languages through relationships, stories, and everyday interactions with AI characters called “senseis”.

Call Me Sensei is built around a simple idea: having someone you want to talk to gives you a reason to keep practising. Conversations unfold through humour, affection, misunderstandings, and shared experiences, giving learners opportunities to use a language in context.

Making those interactions convincing requires continuity. A character needs to remember what has happened, maintain a distinct personality, and respond in a way that fits the conversation. These challenges sit at the centre of Hyperbond Studio’s work on long-term memory, emotional continuity, and relationship-driven gameplay.

Joining Claude for Startups expands the AI ecosystem available to the team, following Hyperbond Studio’s previously announced participation in programmes from Google Cloud and OpenAI.
